You are in lying position on the back on bench and with holding by arms behind the head. Legs are mildly flexed in knees and you put them approximately to level of bench.

In lower position is the need to try to have shoulders in touch with desk of bench. If you are too much deflected and shoulders are not in touch with the desk you must make movement down shorter. From this position you return legs to upper position and they are all the time mildly flexed in the knees you are in upper position when the bottom have tendency get unstuck from the desk.

You are breathing in with movement down and you are breathing out with movement up.
