You are in lying position sideward on the cross bench. Arm with dumbbell is mildly flexed in the elbow and is before the body. Axis of dumbbell is vertical on the torso and palm lead to the head. You are raising the arm sideway along the bench to the position when is the arm to the floor in the angle of 60 degrees. Whole movement is led by back of the hand ahead.

You are breathing out with the movement up and you are breathing in with the movement down.

Note: This exercise is suitable with problems of too big tendency for using the trapezius muscles during exercising of shoulders. In this case is their cooperation partly eliminated.
